Industry Awards
The achievements of Garlands, and of its Chief Executive Chey Garland, have been recognised with a number of significant award wins.
In 2008, Garlands was named Tees Valley Company of the Year at the North East Business Awards.
In 2007, it won both 'Outsource Contact Centre Provider of the Year' at the NOA Awards, and the 'Orange Best Use of Technology in Business' award at the National Business Awards, North East finals.
In 2006, together with Vodafone, Garlands won top prize in the "Best Work by a Contact Centre" category at the Marketing Direct SMART awards.
Chey was recognised as Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year in 2005 - and was also named 'Direct Marketing Business Person of the Year' at the 2007 Connect Awards and 'Business Services Entrepreneur of the Year' at the 2002 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finals.
