The company’s performance management system, Shine, provides the framework to support the achievement of these objectives and develop staff so they can excel in their role.

Working on a six monthly cycle, Shine involves a series of formal conversations that managers must hold with each member of their team, during which objectives are shared and reviewed, areas of focus identified, and personal development plans created.

An individual’s progress and overall achievements are regularly measured – and performance-related salary increases determined on a bi-annual basis.
